Koshoku helps you understand and record everyday meals. These terms explain your responsibilities, how subscriptions work, and the limits of nutrition estimates.

Your agreement with Koshoku
These terms are an agreement between you and GordonHan, based in Singapore, for use of the Koshoku app and website. Accept these terms only if you agree to them and are legally able to enter into this agreement.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Koshoku. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information; accepting these terms is not blanket consent to unrelated data processing.
Nutrition estimates and personal decisions
Koshoku provides general nutrition information and food-tracking tools. AI estimates, recipe values, portion sizes, calorie goals, and macro calculations can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting entries that matter to you.
Koshoku is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent disease. Do not rely on it to manage medical conditions, medication, food allergies, or other situations where a wrong estimate could cause harm. Consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary advice tailored to your circumstances.
Your account and permitted use
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
Do not use Koshoku unlawfully, upload content you have no right to use, bypass usage limits or security controls, interfere with the service, or access another person's account or information.
Your photos, text, and other content
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give us permission to host, process, transmit to the service providers described in the privacy policy, and display that content as necessary to provide the features you request.
This permission does not give us ownership of your photos or diary. Submit only content you are entitled to share and avoid including other people's personal or confidential information in meal-analysis requests.
AI-generated results may be similar to results provided to other people and may contain errors. Check them before relying on or sharing them.
Plus subscriptions, renewals, and refunds
Some features require a paid Koshoku Plus subscription. The checkout screen displays the applicable price, billing period, taxes where applicable, and any introductory offer. Subscription access and usage limits depend on the plan shown to you.
Mobile subscriptions are charged through Apple App Store or Google Play and renew automatically unless canceled under the store's rules. Manage or cancel your subscription in the store account used to purchase it. Removing the app or deleting your Koshoku account does not cancel the subscription.
An introductory price applies only for the stated period and to eligible purchasers. Renewal uses the price disclosed at checkout. Store purchases, cancellations, and refund requests are subject to the store's procedures and applicable consumer law.
Restore purchases through the app when available. Contact support@koshoku.app if a completed purchase is not reflected in your Koshoku account. Do not send us your payment-card details.
Availability, changes, and suspension
We may maintain, update, or change features and reasonable usage limits. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to third-party or network failures. We do not guarantee that every feature or estimate will always be available or accurate.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and how you can contact us. Material changes to paid access are subject to applicable law and store requirements.
Ending your use and deletion requests
You may stop using Koshoku at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact support@koshoku.app. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you.
Deletion is handled in accordance with our privacy policy, including any lawful retention requirements. Cancel active subscriptions separately through the store.
Rights and responsibility
The Koshoku app, branding, and materials we provide remain owned by us or their respective licensors. You may use them for the intended features of the service; these terms do not transfer ownership.
To the extent permitted by law, we provide the service without additional guarantees about uninterrupted operation or the accuracy of estimates. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on inaccurate nutrition estimates or factors outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law makes us responsible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
Changes, questions, and disputes
We publish revised terms with a version and effective date. We will provide notice and request renewed acceptance when appropriate or required; an existing acceptance record is not treated as acceptance of a later version.
